Harlequin stitch
This is one of my favorite basic stitch patterns. It's easy, quick to work up, and the thickness is suitable for nice blankets. It's a good stash-buster pattern; you can use as many colors as you want.

70s ripple
This pattern is based on a ripple pattern that was popular in 70s decor.

The Overlook
This is my own pattern of the iconic carpet in the Overlook Hotel from the movie The Shining. It took me about a month to figure out a pattern that I was happy with. It seems complicated at first but once you get the pattern down it's pretty easy. It looks great with the original orange, brown and red color palette.
